About
Pakistan’s official trade numbers are published as Excel sheets and PDF statements buried in government portals. This site exists to put the same data in front of people as charts and plain-English explanations — for students, journalists, researchers, and traders anywhere in the world.
How we present the numbers
Every figure on this site traces back to public releases by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the State Bank of Pakistan, or the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan. Nothing is estimated by us.
Figures are provisional, rounded to the nearest $0.1 billion, and presented as approximations. Product and country breakdowns are indicative groupings of official categories.
Pakistan's fiscal year runs from July to June. "FY2024–25" means July 2024 through June 2025 — which is why annual figures rarely match calendar-year reporting.
Unless stated otherwise, charts show trade in goods. Services — most importantly IT and IT-enabled services — are reported separately by the State Bank of Pakistan.
